Product Details
The sleek minimalist design complements this formative precision bench tool intended for years of heavy use. With its precision dial indicator and small footprint, this micrometer is perfect for every reed maker. It uses a Starrett 196MB1 dial indicator with a ball-end contact point. The stainless steel mandrel pin has a 0.049" (1.20mm) radius, 3mm increments, and a flat-ground underside for ample clearance of the reed aperture. The lever arm has a circular touch for easy manipulation. Hex-head alloy steel cup point set screws hold the dial indicator and mandrel pin tightly in place and can be easily adjusted when necessary.
