Please Note: The Standard Contrabassoon shape features a traditional straight-line shape, while the Rieger K1 offers a more contoured, goblet-style design. The Burl Lane, Rieger K4, and Rieger NN (Nielubowski) shapes share extremely similar geometry and playing characteristics. Finished reeds are patterned accordingly to reflect these subtle design variations and pedagogical traditions.
